Terms and conditions

Terms

What we promise, what we charge, and what you can and cannot cancel. Written plainly, because these are the terms we actually work to.

1 · PricesPrices

Every price on this site is the whole price you pay. We are not registered for VAT, so no price contains or states VAT, and no invoice or receipt we issue carries a VAT line or a VAT number.

Payment is taken at the checkout.

2 · DeliveryDelivery

Delivery is Tuesday to Saturday, by our own driver. Ordered by 11am, delivered the same day; otherwise on the day you choose.

Delivery costs £4.95, and is charged once for each person and day you send to.

Where nobody is in, the driver leaves the flowers in a safe place or with a neighbour and emails you to say where.

3 · SubstitutionSubstitution

Stems change week to week. Where a stem in a recipe is not good enough on the day, we substitute a comparable stem of equal or greater value that suits the arrangement, and we do not contact you first.

4 · The freshness guaranteeThe freshness guarantee

Flowers stay fresh for seven days from delivery. If they do not, we replace the arrangement or refund it.

The claim window is seven days from delivery. To claim, write to us and send a photograph.

The guarantee covers the flowers as delivered and cared for per the instructions supplied. It does not cover an arrangement left without water, in direct sun or beside fruit.

5 · CancellingCancelling

Two rules, and both of them matter. Neither is a footnote to the other.

Cut flowers and wreaths: no fourteen-day right

Cut flowers and wreaths are goods liable to deteriorate rapidly, so the fourteen-day right to cancel does not apply to them.

Plants, vases and pots: fourteen days

These are not perishable in that sense. The fourteen-day right does apply, and they may be cancelled within fourteen days of delivery and returned.

Whatever the goods, an order we have not yet made up can always be cancelled by asking, and we refund it.

6 · CareCare

Every delivery carries care instructions, and the same instructions appear on the product page. The freshness guarantee depends on them.

7 · Getting in touchGetting in touch

In writing, at info@example.com. There is no telephone number, so every promise about a delivery exists in a record both of us can read.

8 · Who we areWho we are

Your Flower Shop.

9 · The contractThe contract

A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email, not when the payment is taken. Until that confirmation, an order is an offer we can decline — a stem we cannot get, a day we cannot make, an address we do not cover — and anything already paid is refunded in full.

If something goes wrong, write to us and we will put it right: a remake, a refund, or whatever else the case calls for. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.
